Born 1984 in the town of Klin, Moscow region. In 2017 Dmitry Starshinov's first solo exhibition 'Bolshoi. New Stage' took place in the Central Exhibition Hall Manege, being a part of the International Biennale 'Fashion and Style in Photography', organised by the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow since 1998. The exhibition wasimmediately recognised by the leading art critics as Biennale's most impressive project.Same year the exhibition toured to Norilsk Museum accompanying the prestigious Golden Mask theatre festival. In 2018 the exhibition traveled further on to the town of Dudinka, as a part of Multimedia Art Museum's charity programme addressing children from orphan houses. In 2017 Starshinov’s photographs were included in the exhibition 'Parade - 100'. It was during the Dyagilev Festival and the exhibition was dedicated to 100 years jubilee of Erik Satiу's ballet 'Parade'. Photographs by Dmitry Starshinov were among the works from Victoria and Albert Museum and other international institutions that took part in the project. Photographs by Dmirtry Starshinov are frequently published in numerous newspapers and magazines. His works are a part of the collection of Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow / Moscow House of Photography.
