Hvaana, Cuba, 1981
Artist, graphic artist and illustrator. Graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts “San Alejandro” in Cuba in 2001. He was a member of the Arte Marismas group of artists in Spain.
His personal exhibitions include: Day of Cuban culture at the Renaissance Castle Gallery in Galanta, Slovakia, 2015; double exhibition Two visions of retrospective diversity, Gallery Slovakia, Bratislava; Rhythms and colors of Cuba, also double exhibition held at the Andrej Smolak gallery, Bratislava, Slovakia, both in 2014; Colors of Cuba, Casa Torres Ariz, Basque Country, Spain, 2011 and Evolution or Involution, Angelus-YETI Gallery, at the Union of artists and writers of Cuba, Cuba, 2010. He participated in more than twenty collective exhibitions, including: Cuban Art Arrives, the Gallery of the Moje City Shopping center, the Moravian city of Olomouc and the Exhibitions of Cuban painting Grand resort Hotel, the city of Mlade buke, Czech Republic, in 2016. Ambiance int the Czech center of photography, Prague, Czech Republic, in 2015; Prilivy A Odlivy, at the Gallery of radio and television of Slovakia RTVS in Bratislava, Slovakia, in 2014; Casa de Piedra in Colombres, Spain; Fayad Jamis Erotic art salon, Cuba, 2011, where he was a finalist and an International Seminar of academic art schools in 2001 in Havana, Cuba, where he was given a Special Mention. He did illustrations for the Cuban magazine "The Golden age in us" in 1999.
A portrait of Eloy Alfaro, the former President of Ecuador, made by Moran decorates the President of Ecuador 's office, and its reproduction on canvas decorates the Cuban Embassy of this country. In addition, his works are part of the collections of the Cuban Institute for Friendship of the Peoples in Havana, Cuba, and the Catholic school of Bethlehem in Miami, Florida, USA. Many of Alberto Moran's works are held by private collectors in Cuba, Mexico, the United States, France, Finland, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, Slovakia and the Czech Republic.
