PRANNA

Anna Malai was born in 1988 in Moscow region. Anna were grown up in intelligent family. Her father is an engineer, nuclear physicist. Mother is an artist and a teacher. Since the childhood, she studied painting, sculpture, music and dance. In 2005 she entered the art school. Then continued education in college on the faculty of Art. In those time Anna started to use things that she we’re surrounded with (accessories, clothes, interior pieces) as a parts of her artworks. In 2007 Anna started her education in RGGU (Russian State University for the Humanities) in Moscow in the faculty of Art History. In those time she also were interested in design. In 2009 she established her own brand ANTE KOVAC (ante-kovac.com). This brand is located at the interface of fashion and art. Anna made more than 20 collections of art objects that you could put on. With ANTE KOVAC she made lots of performances, installations, photo and video campaigns. For 10 years brand became popular in Russia and all over the world as its collections were bright, authentic got it personal style. Garments of a brand are located in galleries and private collections in USA, Austria, France and China. In 2012 Anna made a couple of architecture projects which were defined as symbolic and functional spaces. Singularity of interiors designs that were made by an artist are the complex story that continue each other. From the 2016 Anna began to create a designed furniture for her architecture projects. She recycle antique objects and musical instruments. What is more she realized her own jewelry collection. In the 2017 Anna create a couple of paintings in the oil technique. She explores religious and metaphysical questions thats are important for her. In the 2018 Anna Malai realize herself as a director of short films. They are devoted to a life surveillance and metaphysic searchings. A film in which took part National artist Evegenii Kniazev were devoted to the pressure of time. This film were nominated on the Cannes Lions International Festival. 2018 July-August were organized a personal exhibition of interactive installations with additional reality. An exhibition were called «Art to wear art». It took place in the Crocus city hall and took a big fame in social networks. In 2019 Anna create a brand of futuristic bags TE . KTO (https://en.te-kto.com/). Brand stands for sustainable consumption and care of nature. She designs collections and create a visual image of a brand. In the frame of this project Anna creates performances, photo and video art. TE . KTO is about immersive fashion as a new stream in art. In 2019 Anna also created a project PRANNA (http://pranna.me/en) . PRANNA creates artworks in new stream of art - Anthropomorphic cyberrealism. It explores the role of a spiritual being in the era of digital civilization, the issues of personal identity of a person of the XXI century and algorithms for the formation of a new cultural codes of the present and future. Anna travelled a lot and visited more than 80 countries. She explored different cultural characteristics of different societies and were trying to empower her spiritual and creative abilities. Exploring esotericism, bioengineering, psychology, arts, architecture, philosophy, history, literature, sociology, astrology, theology, science development and technologies.
