Asya Aseeva was born in Moscow. She lives and works in Moscow.
Her works are in private collections in Russia, France and Great Britain.
Currently she's painting acrylic on canvas. Asya are constantly studying and taking classes from well-known artists,
improving her skills and drawing inspiration from other artists, participating in competitions.
Her creative path began as the antithesis of my technical education. I was deeply immersed in human psychology and
neurosociology. She was fascinated by the ambivalence of human nature, the logical neural train of thought on one side
and the seemingly irrational storms of emotion on the other. This led her to create paintings in the style of abstract
expressionism. In her work Asya use a brushstroke and various objects such as threads, rollers, cards, toothbrushes. I
apply, sprinkle and dab the colour and then partially remove it. By doing this she achieve a layering and a depth effect,
as a reflection of the many layers of human feelings. With her work Asya want to express different points of the sensual
spectrum: tenderness, ecstasy, curiosity, disgust, powerlessness, rage.
